Write down the last working version if you know it, the new version shown on the device, and the action that triggers the crash. “Closes when I open Wallet after updating” is more useful than “not working.” Do not assume the newest file on an unrelated mirror is a fix—especially when several Yono or Rummy titles share branding language.
Isolate the problem first
- Can other apps open?
- Does the failure happen offline, at sign-in, or only on one screen?
- Did it start immediately after an update from a known source, or after installing a differently named APK?
If only one app fails, start with that app. If the phone or many apps fail, use the device manufacturer’s support rather than repeatedly changing one installation. Google’s guide to an installed app that is not working follows the same split.
Try reversible steps before deleting data
- Restart the phone and retry the same action once.
- Check the original store or confirmed developer channel for a further update, and check for a supported Android system update.
- In Settings, find the app, force stop it, then reopen it.
- Clear cache only. Cache is different from clearing storage/data. Menu names differ by manufacturer.
This sequence cannot tell you whether the developer has a server outage. It also cannot turn an identity mismatch into a working product.
Pause before clearing storage or uninstalling
Clearing storage/data or uninstalling can erase local information. Confirm how progress, settings and access are recovered before either step. If you cannot confirm recovery, contact the matching developer first (support guide).
Do not install an older APK from an unconfirmed source “just to keep the account.” That adds an identity and signing problem to the original crash. Android’s signing documentation explains why update continuity depends on release identity.
Separate a crash from a mode or rule surprise
An app closing unexpectedly and an unexpected score or table rule need different evidence.
- Crash: record the screen and action immediately before it closes, plus versions.
- Rule/mode dispute: keep the selected mode, stake or table settings, and result screen before clearing anything. Do not merge two same-name products’ help articles—e.g. treat Jungle Haan multi-game hall claims separately from a single-format Rummy profile such as Yono Rummy.
What to send to matched support
Package or store link if known, installed versions, phone model, Android version, steps to reproduce, exact message, and which reversible steps you tried. Remove names, phone numbers and account numbers from screenshots. If the updated app suddenly asks for unusual permissions or a different account flow, stop and recheck identity (identity guide) before granting access.
AppGamesHub channels ([email protected], Telegram, Corrections) fix directory/source errors—they cannot recover a balance or restart a crashed process on the operator’s servers.
After an update, re-check identity once
Updates are the moment lookalike APKs try hardest to replace a working install. Before granting install permission on a new file:
- Compare the original source with a matching publisher update record. Reusing a starting link does not prove that later file bytes, package or signing identity are unchanged.
- Compare the displayed title and developer string with your four-part identity note.
- If the package field on AppGamesHub is Unknown, do not “fill it in” from the new file’s marketing text—report the gap via Corrections if a public source now exists.
- If permissions suddenly include contacts, SMS or accessibility services that the previous build never asked for, stop and treat it as an identity problem first.
A stable starting URL does not by itself establish an update’s package or signing identity. Use the destination checklist and a matching publisher record.
