A display name helps you search. It does not uniquely identify an Android app. Two products can share “Yono,” “Rummy,” icons or colours while belonging to different developers. Build a four-part identity note before trusting a download, comparing versions or merging help articles.

Make a four-part identity note

  1. Copy the exact store or developer page address you are reading.
  2. Record the displayed title and the developer named on that page.
  3. Record the Android application ID (package name). On a Google Play details URL, compare the value after id=.
  4. Record the check date and whether support/legal links relate to that same product.

Android documents the application ID as the identifier used on the device and in Google Play. Similar branding does not establish that two different IDs are the same product. Do not infer a bank, celebrity or “official network” connection from a shared word.

On AppGamesHub, when a trustworthy public source does not establish the package, the field stays empty. We refuse to invent application IDs to look complete (listing criteria).

Catalogue examples of separate identities

a shared name does not establish a store-package match: a Play leisure package that only shares marketing language is not automatic proof that a cash-oriented APK is the same publisher. Match fields first (Cash vs Play).

Optional: inspect a file without installing it

For technically experienced users with Android SDK Command-Line Tools, apkanalyzer can read an APK’s application ID and versions (for example apkanalyzer apk summary app.apk). These are platform instructions—not a claim that AppGamesHub inspected a listed APK.

File metadata alone does not prove who supplied the file. apksigner can verify a signature; interpreting continuity also needs a trusted certificate reference and room for a documented key change. We do not publish invented SHA values as if they were our lab results.

When evidence disagrees

If a page describes an offline pastime but a file asks for deposits, or a different developer appears after a redirect, stop. Keep the records separate until the responsible publisher explains the relationship through a verifiable channel. Do not combine a Play package’s facts with another APK’s bonuses, version or support details.

Conflicting material facts on AppGamesHub should surface as Conflicting information status—not be silently averaged. Request a fix via Corrections, [email protected] or https://t.me/GameAdsBiz.

Write one clear identity note

Say out loud (or write once): “I am about to install this title, from this developer string, with this package if known, checked on this date, from this URL.” If any blank is still Unknown, decide whether you accept that uncertainty—or wait. Filling blanks from a Discord tip is how a shared name does not establish a store-package match collisions start.

Platform docs and catalogue identity examples reviewed: . Documentation only—not an APK dissection of every listed title.
